What does it take to fully walk our talk? It takes fully stepping into the person we want to be in order to actually become that person.
That is what this month’s theme, How To Step Fully Into Change is all about.
This month we:
Authentic change is about aligning our inner and outer worlds.
In essence, this month highlighted the idea that in order to truly change, we must do so in our inner world as well as in our outer world.
To attempt to only change one without the other creates discord - a tension that will likely result in our falling short, or completely failing in our change goals.
It’s easy to look at this and say to yourself, “no sweat - this is a cinch!” But I must warn you: These things are neither easy or all that fast to accomplish.
What they are, though, are opportunities to have some fun by playing with some unique approaches to help bridge the gap between the current and future you.
The more you work at these things, the more aligned you’ll feel until, before you know it (literally - before you actually realize it), you will have shifted into that changed person you currently only see in your imagination.
Change can be fun if we let it. All it takes is the right mindset. So what do you say? Why not step into your new change shoes and take them for a spin?
I want to hear from you!
I am in the process of designing future blog posts and would love to hear from you with any ideas or suggestions, as well about any challenges around change you have or are currently experiencing.
