It's been a while since I've last posted, but that in no way means I've been sitting idly by waiting for summer to slowly fade into autumn.
In fact I've been hard at work finding new ways to provide content and ideas around Mindset, my newest fascination that looks into our hidden patterns of perceiving, believing and behaving in our world that influences the way we experience life.
I began my adventure in early summer contemplating how best to deliver concepts and help people to create true, actionable and sustainable shift in their lives. From that emerged a three-phased approach to program development: Design Group, Proto Group, Full Public Release.
My first ever Design Group occurred in July and was an amazingly strong learning experience. From the feedback provided by those few brave souls was born a fully formed, comprehensive and robust prototype, which will be launched in mid-October, called Make Up Your Mind(set)! *note - I'm still trying out new titles, so this is subject to change - comments/feedback/suggestions are very welcomed!
Introducing Mindset Mondays
Another new concept that has emerged is the idea of creating a weekly video blog (aka vlog) that discusses a mindset-related topic, with tips and tricks to create a quick shift in thinking. Here's the pilot:
But Wait! There's More!
The Launch of Make Up Your Mind(set)! and Mindset Mondays is just the beginning. Here are some of the other things I'm working on that I'm hoping to launch in the near future:
Mindset Moments, are impromptu videos recorded in the moment. When so inspired, I will record a quick video highlighting real-life examples of mindset at work. They could represent different ways of perceiving the same event, examples of limiting beliefs, how our behaviors are driven my our mindset, and/or examples of positive mindsets in action.
Live Streamed and/or Group Calls
I'm still working out the details for this, but what I'm envisioning is a combination of Live Streamed Presentations and Group Calls. The presentations would focus on a topic based on requests or questions from the Proto Group and others. Group calls would include the ability for live questions and answers. If you already have one or more topics in mind, please send me a note and let me know.
Last but not least is a focus on a newsletter format, which will likely take the place of regular or frequent blog posts.
As you may have noticed, my frequency of posting has consistently diminished over the course of a year. This isn't because I don't have anything to write about. But it did take a great deal of time and effort to conceive, write and then post each blog to the point where that was all I had the time and energy to do.
So I've made the conscious decision to shake things up and shift my focus to those things that are most important to me, and of which I believe will be the most valuable to you.
With a newsletter I can include a number of useful tips, tools, approaches, resources, updates around mindset, and other perculcha-related topics. I want this to be a newsletter that you find useful and look forward to receiving.
I'll likely post the newsletters online as well, but if you already know you'll want them, or want a say in the design and frequency of them, I encourage you to sign-up now (if you haven't already done so) so you're included at the get-go.
That's it for now. As always, thank you for reading. I hope you like the new and upcoming changes, and I'll love to hear your comments, suggestions or just a note to say hello, so keep 'em coming!
